Professional Summary
As a Physician Assistant, with a specialty in Internal Medicine and Dependency Medicine, I began my career at the Brooklyn Veterans Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where I was the lead medical officer on the Psychiatric/Alcohol Rehabilitation unit for two years. I subsequently moved to Los Angeles, California, joining the staff at Lincoln Hospital, a small private 50 bed hospital in East Los Angeles, where I worked for five years.
While at Lincoln Hospital, I was in charge of all admissions, as well as a first-assistant in General Surgery. I established the first antibiotic control protocol at the hospital, monitoring antibiotic usage, and initiated a pre-surgical antibiotic protocol. With the focus of my professional duties focused on caring for patients with acute and chronic lifestyle-related diseases, I ultimately established myself as an expert in wellness coaching and lifestyle prevention. I left the hospital to start a private Health Coach/Lifestyle Counseling practice, using a referral base of physicians and corporate clients. To date I have helped hundreds of individuals including children, teens, single adults and families, to lose weight and improve their health profile. Media Resume License and Memberships
